Through a newly secured £100M debt financing facility by Go Zero, the partnership aims to provide leisure destinations and hotels with reliable and scalable charging solutions, removing significant upfront capital expenditure for businesses.

Addressing the Market Gap in Destination Charging
A significant opportunity exists for businesses to cater to the growing number of EV drivers. Data indicates that while more than 1.3 million electric vehicles are on UK roads, only six percent of city hotels currently offer EV charging. With nearly 40 percent of new car registrations being plug-in models, EV drivers—including business commuters, families, and international visitors—increasingly expect charging availability to be as standard as Wi-Fi. This partnership directly addresses the underserved destination market, allowing businesses to act now and capitalize on this demand.
A Synergistic Partnership
The collaboration between Go Zero and Rolec removes financial barriers for businesses, enabling them to implement charging infrastructure quickly and generate recurring revenue. Go Zero provides sector expertise, national coverage, and guest-friendly solutions, with its CPO software aligning with Rolec’s hardware and software roadmap.
Rolec complements this with UK-based manufacturing, technical support, and a national partner network. This combined capability allows for the simultaneous installation and management of proven AC and DC hardware across multiple sites. The partnership confidently serves caravan parks, holiday parks, theme parks, hotels, resorts, shopping centers, and sports stadiums. Several projects have already been completed, with more scheduled in the coming months.

The partnership with Rolec ensures faster installation of multi-bay EV hubs, bringing Go Zero’s vision of 10,000 sockets closer to reality.
