Currently, owners must use the Tesla app to initiate charging, but Honda is developing plug-and-charge capabilities and integration with the HondaLink® and Acura EV apps. This will streamline the charging process, making it more user-friendly. Additionally, the in-vehicle Google built-in Maps feature helps drivers locate authorized Supercharger stations quickly.
Purchasing the NACS-CCS Adapter
The NACS-CCS adapter, priced at $225, is available through authorized Honda and Acura dealerships or online at the Honda DreamShop website. Honda strongly recommends using only approved adapters to ensure compatibility and prevent potential damage to the vehicle, which could void warranty coverage if unapproved adapters are used.
