Honda’s 0 Series flagship concept model, the Saloon, has secured the prestigious ‘Red Dot: Best of the Best 2024’ award. Additionally, the Space-Hub, another model in the 0 Series, was also recognized as a Red Dot winner in the Design Concept competition.

Honda 0 Series – Saloon
The Saloon embodies Honda’s major transformation under the redefined Global Brand Slogan, The Power of Dreams, focusing on electrification. Debuting at CES 2024, this flagship model represents Honda’s new approach to electric vehicle development: Thin, Light, and Wise, aiming to create new value for EVs.
Design Features:
- One-motion form: A smooth line from front to rear
- Low & wide exterior design: Expressing suppleness and dynamism
- Upright side glass design: Creating an expansive side panel
- Narrow shape toward side sills: Accentuating the tires
- Sporty styling with low vehicle height: Combining seductive design with spacious interiors
The interior boasts a simple and intuitive human-machine interface (HMI), providing a sophisticated and seamless user interface (UI). Despite its low height, the Saloon offers a surprisingly spacious interior.
Honda 0 Series – Space-Hub
The Space-Hub concept model reflects Honda’s “M/M concept” and the new value of EVs as a space for people. Emphasizing a spacious cabin and excellent visibility, the Space-Hub is designed to be a flexible space that adapts to users’ needs, fostering connections between people and society.

“We are pleased to be awarded the world-renowned Red Dot Award in the Design Concept competition, in addition to the awards we received in the Product Design competition, announced in April. We designed the Saloon, named the ‘Best of the Best,’ as a model that represents the major transformation of Honda, with the theme of achieving a ‘resonance with the environment, society and customers’ and with an original design that differentiates the Saloon from other models from the first glance. We believe these awards are the result of receiving a high evaluation both for the design and the new value Honda offers.
