Hyper-Fast EV Charging Station Opens in Moab

Electrify Commercial, a division of Electrify America, and Rocky Mountain Power have inaugurated a Hyper-Fast charging station in Moab, Utah, enhancing the infrastructure for electric vehicle (EV) adoption in the region. The collaboration aims to extend Hyper-Fast charging facilities across Utah, including the Salt Lake area and nearby communities.

  • Location and Features: The new charging station, located at 1850 N. Main Street in Moab, includes eight Hyper-Fast chargers capable of speeds up to 350 kW, with one charger designed to accommodate trucks and trailers.
  • Accessibility: Situated near Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park, the station offers a convenient charging option for visitors.
  • Network Expansion: This Moab station adds to Rocky Mountain Power’s existing locations in Kimball Junction, Millcreek, and Vernal, and is part of Electrify America’s extensive network featuring over 950 stations and more than 4,250 chargers across the U.S. and Canada.
  • Pricing and Payments: Rocky Mountain Power sets the pricing, offering a discounted rate to its utility customers. Users can access and pay for charging via the Electrify America mobile app.
