Hyundai Motor UK has opened reservations for the IONIQ 3, a compact electric hatchback priced from £22,245 (about $30,140) on the road, with an expected range of up to 308 miles. The IONIQ 3 is the first European Hyundai model to use Pleos Connect, the company’s Android Automotive OS–based infotainment system, and rides on a 400-volt electrical architecture offered with two battery sizes. Four trims span Advance, Premium, Ultimate and the range-topping N Line Evo at £31,945 (about $43,290), with Hyundai describing all range figures as expected and pending final homologation.

Options are priced separately. The EV Pack, which adds a heat pump, interior and exterior Vehicle-to-Load and 11 kW plus V2X capability, costs £1,250 (about $1,690). The Comfort Pack for Ultimate and N Line Evo is £2,500 (about $3,390) and bundles relaxation front seats, heated and ventilated seating, Bose premium audio and Digital Key 2.0. The Design Pack, also £1,500 (about $2,030), covers the Vision and two-tone roofs. Pearl paint adds £750, matte Fierce Red £1,250.
Advance specification includes 16-inch alloy wheels, LED lighting, front and rear parking sensors, a 12.9-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual-zone climate control and an electronic parking brake. Standard safety content covers Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Follow Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist and Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist. Highway Drive Assist with hands-on detection arrives on Ultimate.

Both powertrains use a front-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor and an 11 kW onboard charger. Braking hardware is a 305 mm (12.0-inch) ventilated front disc with a 284 mm (11.2-inch) solid rear disc, and regenerative braking is adjustable through steering-wheel paddles across the range.
Pleos Connect Leads the Technology Package
Pleos Connect is available with a 12.9-inch or 14.6-inch display, with satellite navigation reserved for Ultimate and N Line Evo. Supporting technologies include Hyundai Digital Key 2, Plug & Charge, an integrated EV route planner and Vehicle-to-Load for interior and exterior power. Memory Reverse Assist, standard on N Line Evo, memorizes the last 164 feet (50 meters) of driving inputs to assist with repeated maneuvers such as reversing out of tight parking spaces.
Aero Hatch Packaging in a B-Segment Footprint
The IONIQ 3 introduces Hyundai’s “Art of Steel” design language to the compact EV segment, pairing the Aero Hatch silhouette with pixel lighting. Despite a B-segment footprint measuring 4,155 mm (163.6 inches) long, Hyundai says the interior targets space and storage associated with larger vehicles, including an open bridge floating center console, adjustable cup holders, Megabox underfloor storage and cargo capacity of 15.6 cubic feet (441 liters).
Cloth seats on Advance and Premium use 30% recycled material, rising to 90% for the cloth and suede trim on Ultimate. N Line Evo adds specific front and rear styling with a higher and wider rear spoiler, a lower diffuser, 19-inch black alloy wheels, black mirror caps and red interior accents.
