The 2026 Hyundai IONIQ 9 has been named “Electric SUV of Texas” at the Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA) Truck Rodeo, held September 25–26, 2025. The all-new three-row EV impressed judges with its luxury-caliber technology, spacious interior, and dynamic all-wheel-drive performance.

The 32nd annual TAWA Truck Rodeo gathered journalists to evaluate vehicles across 12 categories, focusing on performance, styling, value, and capability in both on- and off-road settings.
