The XCIENT Fuel Cell truck is engineered for performance, boasting a 180 kW hydrogen fuel cell system paired with a 350 kW electric motor, delivering a maximum torque of 2,237 Nm. With a range of up to 450 miles and a gross combination weight capacity of 82,000 pounds, it’s built for heavy-duty tasks like port transportation and logistics. Safety is enhanced with features such as Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist and Lane Departure Warning, alongside a driver-friendly interior with a 12.3-inch digital cluster and touchscreen infotainment system.
Hyundai’s commitment extends beyond the truck itself. The NorCAL ZERO Project in California deploys 30 XCIENT trucks at the Ports of Oakland and Richmond, logging nearly 450,000 miles since September 2023. In Georgia, the HTWO Logistics initiative with GLOVIS America supports decarbonized deliveries at Hyundai’s Metaplant America, with 21 trucks in operation since October 2024. A new refueling station, HTWO Energy Savannah, is set to open by December 2025, further boosting hydrogen infrastructure.
Through these efforts, Hyundai is driving the shift to clean transportation, leveraging its HTWO brand to lead the global hydrogen energy transition.
