Kia America Introduces Significant Financial Incentives for 2023 EV6 Crossover

What’s Happening

Kia America is set to make the lauded EV6 crossover more accessible with a $7,500 EV lease bonus for well-qualified customers. This bonus, applied as a capitalized cost reduction, will be available from the present date through July 5, 2023. Qualified lessees, approved by Kia Finance, will also have the opportunity to lease a 2023 EV6 Wind RWD for $499 a month for 36 months, with an upfront cost of $4,999. Additionally, Kia Finance America is offering up to $3,750 in standard-rate finance bonus cash for qualified buyers purchasing a new 2023 Kia EV6.

Why It Matters

Kia America’s COO & EVP, Steven Center, remarks that the Kia EV6 has been a resounding success, and these offers are expected to attract customers interested in exploring the electric vehicle lifestyle. The EV6, with its varied motor and drivetrain layouts, boasts an EPA-estimated all-electric range of more than 300 miles for certain models. These special offers aim to facilitate potential customers’ access to this groundbreaking vehicle.

Key Points

The EV6 is available in three variants: Wind, GT-Line, and GT. Both Wind and GT-Line offer rear-wheel and all-wheel drive, while the GT is exclusively all-wheel drive. The EV6, compatible with ultrafast 800v DC fast chargers, can recharge from 10 percent to 80 percent in approximately 18 minutes on a 350-kW charger. The vehicle has an EPA-estimated 310-miles of all-electric range (AER) on the GT-Line (RWD) and Wind (RWD) trims. It features vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality, a spacious flat-floor interior, and a range of advanced driver assistance systems, offering unprecedented connectivity and convenience.

Bottom Line

The Kia EV6 made a significant splash in the EV sector when it debuted last year, spearheading Kia’s ambitious Plan S strategy aimed at establishing the brand as a leader in sustainable mobility. The EV6 has received widespread acclaim, earning a place on Car and Driver’s 2023 10Best list and bagging the 2023 North American Utility of the Year. The 576 horsepower 2023 Kia EV6 GT has been recently honored as the World Performance Car of the Year. These new financial incentives represent Kia’s commitment to making electric vehicles more affordable and accessible, contributing to a greener and more sustainable future.
