The all-new Mazda CX-6e will start at £42,990 (about $58,000) in the UK when the electric SUV arrives in late 2026, with a 78kWh battery and a WLTP range of up to 300 miles. Mazda Motors UK confirmed pricing and specification for the CX-6e across two grades, the £42,990 Takumi and the £45,350 (about $61,200) Takumi Plus, following the model’s European launch this summer. The CX-6e joins the Mazda6e sedan as the second model in Mazda’s UK EV lineup and carries the same 78kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery and 258PS rear-mounted motor.

What Does the Mazda CX-6e Cost in the UK?
Mazda is offering the CX-6e in two grades, both with the same battery and powertrain. Takumi models ride on 19-inch wheels as standard, with a 21-inch upgrade available for £1,000 (about $1,350). The Takumi Plus includes 21-inch wheels as standard and adds digital exterior mirrors and a digital rear-view mirror, a translucent interior styling bar with ambient lighting, heated outer rear seats, ventilated outer rear seat bases, and additional controls on the rear function touchscreen.

Both grades fall below the £50,000 threshold at which UK zero-emission cars incur an additional £440 annual VED charge from the second year. Mazda says the on-the-road price includes VAT, plates, delivery, 12 months of VED, the first registration fee, a six-year or 100,000-mile warranty, and three years of European roadside assistance. The high-voltage battery carries a separate eight-year, 100,000-mile warranty.
Interior trim options are Black or Stone Maztex on the Takumi, with Stone offered at no cost, and a two-tone Amethyst and White Maztex on the Takumi Plus. Maztex is Mazda’s vegan alternative to leather. Seven exterior paint finishes are available, with Multi-Tone Crystal White Pearl at no cost and the remainder priced from £700 to £1,000. Nightfall Violet is positioned as the hero color.
How Far Does the Mazda CX-6e Go on a Charge?
The 78kWh LFP battery feeds a rear-mounted motor producing 258PS (190kW) and 214 lb-ft (290 Nm) of torque through a single-speed transmission. Mazda quotes 0–62 mph in 7.9 seconds on 19-inch wheels, or 8.1 seconds on 21-inch wheels, and a top speed of 115 mph.
WLTP combined range is up to 300 miles on 19-inch wheels and 290 miles on 21-inch wheels, with city-cycle figures of 379 and 377 miles respectively. Combined energy consumption is rated at 18.9 kWh/100 km on the smaller wheel and 19.4 kWh/100 km on the larger. The company notes the range data is preliminary.
DC charging peaks at 200kW through a CCS connector, which Mazda says takes the battery from 10 to 80 percent in 24 minutes, or from 30 to 80 percent in 15 minutes. AC charging via the Type 2 port runs at up to 11kW, and a Type 2 Mode 3 cable and heat pump are standard on both grades. The CX-6e also supports vehicle-to-load output of up to 3.5kW when fitted with the available V2L accessory, and it is rated to tow up to 3,307 pounds (1,500 kg) braked.
Standard Technology and Safety Equipment
Both grades share a common technology package. The cabin centers on a 26.45-inch, 5K-resolution touchscreen with a dual-split layout, backed by a windshield-projected head-up display, gesture control, and integrated voice recognition. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, along with a 23-speaker, 1,280W surround-sound system, a 50W air-cooled wireless charging pad, built-in navigation with an EV route planner, and over-the-air update capability. A dedicated Mazda 6e & CX-6e app provides remote functions including Bluetooth key sharing for up to three users and charge management.
Every CX-6e carries nine airbags and a sensor suite of high-definition cameras, millimeter-wave radar, and ultrasonic sensors. Standard driver assistance includes Smart Brake Support with front and rear crossing detection, Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Cruising & Traffic Support with Lane Change Assist, Emergency Lane-Keeping, Blind Spot Monitoring, Driver Monitoring, a 360-degree View Monitor with See-Through View, and Traffic Sign Recognition with Intelligent Speed Assistance. A full panoramic glass roof with an electric sunshade is also standard across the range.
The CX-6e rides on a 114.3-inch (2,902 mm) wheelbase and measures 4,850 mm long, 1,935 mm wide, and 1,620 mm tall. Curb weight is 2,130 kg (4,696 pounds) excluding the driver. The model was first shown at the Brussels Motor Show in January, as The EV Report covered at the time.
