The forthcoming MINI Aceman, bridging the gap between the iconic MINI Cooper and the larger MINI Countryman, is nearing its much-anticipated public debut. This crossover model, exclusively electric, marks a significant step in the evolution of the MINI range, combining the best elements of its predecessors into an innovative new vehicle concept.
The Aceman, with dimensions placing it squarely between its MINI siblings, has been undergoing rigorous testing in preparation for its launch. The vehicle’s dimensions are 4,075 mm in length, 1,754 mm in width, and 1,495 mm in height. It features a four-door design and a spacious interior capable of accommodating five passengers, positioning it as a practical yet stylish option for a variety of drivers.

Stefanie Wurst, head of MINI, emphasizes the significance of the Aceman in the brand’s evolution: “The all-electric MINI Aceman opens new opportunities for customers who want a smaller crossover than our successful MINI Countryman. The consistent electrification of our product portfolio makes a clear statement about the future of the MINI brand.”
Extreme Testing Conditions
The Aceman’s journey to production includes testing in some of the most challenging environments. Having already proven its mettle in the frigid Arctic Circle, it is now being subjected to final tests in the desert. Here, the vehicle faces intense sunlight and heat, pushing the limits of its electric drivetrain and climate control systems. Special attention is being paid to its air conditioning, battery cooling and charging, and the resilience of its drive and control devices under temperatures reaching up to 50° Celsius.
Fully Electric and Space-Efficient
The new MINI Aceman will be available solely as an electric model, equipped with a 54.2 kWh battery. This design choice underscores MINI’s commitment to efficiency and environmental responsibility, while maintaining the brand’s signature agility and driving pleasure. The Aceman’s design philosophy, focusing on maximizing interior space within compact external dimensions, is evident in its functional two-box design with short overhangs. This approach ensures ample room for passengers and luggage, reaffirming the Aceman’s role as a versatile and efficient urban vehicle.
