OMODA UK has introduced the OMODA 9 SHS-P Black Noble, a black-on-black grade of its flagship plug-in hybrid SUV priced at £46,495 on-the-road (OTR — the UK convention that bundles registration, delivery and first-year road tax into the sticker price, roughly comparable to a US out-the-door price), about $62,070, alongside a set of MY26 updates to the wider OMODA 9 SHS-P range that now starts at £44,995 OTR, about $60,070. The updates bring revised suspension tuning, additional interior comfort features and the new dark-themed grade to a model OMODA says has established itself as the flagship at the top of its UK range. OMODA UK, which has expanded to 146 dealers nationwide, said the update reflects the brand’s continued growth in the UK market. Both the standard MY26 OMODA 9 SHS-P and the Black Noble grade are available to pre-order now, with deliveries scheduled to begin in August.

What Sets the Black Noble Grade Apart
The OMODA 9 SHS-P Black Noble is finished in matte Iced Jasper Black paint and replaces the standard model’s chrome exterior trim with black detailing throughout, including matte black roof rails and front and rear bumper cover trims. Black alloy wheels and black suede cloth interior detailing complete the black-on-black treatment, giving the grade a distinct look within the OMODA 9 SHS-P range.
MY26 Comfort and Interior Updates
Inside, the MY26 update adds a suede cloth headliner and front massage seats, along with expanded electric seat adjustment — now eight-way for the driver and six-way for the passenger, with an electric thigh bolster added for the driver. The range also gains a heated windshield.
Suspension, Steering and Vehicle-to-Load Upgrades
OMODA retuned the OMODA 9 SHS-P’s independent suspension for MY26 and paired it with Continuous Damping Control (CDC), which adjusts damping in real time based on road conditions and driving inputs. According to OMODA, the change improves ride composure and body control. An updated steering program is also intended to improve driver feedback. Separately, Vehicle-to-Load output has been increased to 6.6 kW, letting the SUV power a wider range of external devices and equipment.
Powertrain and Performance
The OMODA 9 SHS-P’s Super Hybrid System is unchanged for MY26, combining a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with a 34.46 kWh battery for a combined output of 449 PS and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm) of torque. OMODA says the SUV reaches 0–62 mph in 4.9 seconds and has a total driving range of over 700 miles, including up to 90 miles of pure electric driving, with CO2 emissions from 38 g/km.

The recent arrival of the OMODA 7, which sits between the OMODA 5 and the flagship OMODA 9 in the lineup, extends that range further, giving customers more choice of size, specification and powertrain. OMODA UK points to SMMT registration data showing the two brands’ combined market share approaching 5% (4.58%) in June, which it credits in part to demand for its electrified SUV lineup.

All OMODA 9 SHS-P models carry a 7-year/100,000-mile vehicle warranty and an 8-year/100,000-mile battery warranty on plug-in hybrid and electric variants, subject to servicing within the OMODA&JAECOO network.
