New retail locations will open throughout 2026.

Highlights

  • Polestar is adding Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania as its 29th, 30th and 31st markets.
  • The first Polestar Space opens in Tallinn this month, with Riga and Vilnius sites to follow in the second half of the year.
  • Europe accounted for 78% of Polestar’s total retail sales volumes in the first quarter of 2026, the company reports.

Baltic Entry Through a Local Distribution Partner

Polestar is entering the three markets together with Volvax Baltic, using the distributor’s established network of retailers in the region rather than building standalone outlets. The first dedicated Polestar Space will open in Tallinn, Estonia, this month, followed by sites in Riga, Latvia, and Vilnius, Lithuania, during the second half of the year.

A Step Toward 250 Locations in 2026

Scott Dicken, Polestar’s Chief Commercial Officer, framed the Baltic entry as part of the brand’s wider European growth.

“Expanding into the Baltic region is a natural next step for Polestar as we continue to grow in Europe, and is part of our journey to grow our sales network in 2026 to 250 locations globally. At the same time, we are transforming our retail network to meet customers where they are, with locations designed around test drives, making it easier for more customers to experience our cars. It’s a significant achievement for a young brand like Polestar to operate in more than 30 markets.”

The Baltic launch is part of an ongoing reshaping of Polestar’s retail network around test drives and customer experience. The company reports that Europe remains its largest geographical market, representing 78% of total retail sales volumes in the first quarter of 2026.

Charging Access Across the Baltic Region

The Baltic countries have a growing charging grid, and Polestar customers can draw on Polestar Charge, the brand’s integrated charging service. The company reports that Polestar Charge provides access to more than 2,800 charging points across Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, ranging from high-speed superchargers to local charging options.
