- Power Innovations International’s 30 kW and 60 kW chargers added to EPRI’s Vetted Product List
- Supports wide voltage configurations with no derating or transformer requirement
- Ideal for fleet, OEM, retail, and hospitality applications lacking 480V infrastructure
- Further strengthens Pii’s role in North American utility programs
Power Innovations International (Pii), a global provider of electrical power management systems and services, announced that its 30 kW and 60 kW Level 3 chargers—both stationary and mobile indoor models—have been officially accepted to the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) Vetted Product List.
According to Dan Ellis, Pii EV Product Manager, “Having our chargers recognized by EPRI adds an additional layer of trust with our customers. With this latest listing, we’ll be able to better support our growing presence in utility programs across the country.”
Advanced Charging Flexibility
Pii’s Level 3 chargers offer exceptional power adaptability, accommodating 240 Vac Single Phase, 208 & 240 3-Phase, or 480 3-Phase Wye—all without derating or step-up transformers. This flexibility makes them suitable for diverse commercial and industrial environments where infrastructure limitations often hinder DC fast charging deployment.
“These additions to the EPRI list highlight our commitment to compliance, safety, and reliability,” added Nick Stone, Pii Product and Market Manager. “We’re excited about the growth and innovation this brings to our expanding charging portfolio.”
Scalable Solutions for Varied Applications
The 30 kW and 60 kW Quick Chargers are designed for easy installation and field-configurable power input, serving as strong candidates for:
- Fleet operations and OEM test facilities
- Retail and hospitality installations
- Large-scale DC fast charging deployments lacking 480 V infrastructure
Pii’s indoor mobile charger offers plug-and-play DC quick charging directly through existing wall receptacles—eliminating the need for major electrical upgrades.
