Revomet Bitterfeld GmbH operates one of Europe’s most advanced facilities for recycling battery scrap in Bitterfeld-Wolfen. The joint venture builds on a Heads of Agreement signed previously, with CNGR set to hold a 25 percent stake once all conditions are met. This initiative transforms battery waste into valuable raw materials, closing the loop in the battery value chain and strengthening sustainable supply.
The partnership leverages complementary strengths. Revomet contributes advanced recycling technologies, deep process know-how, and a central location in Bitterfeld-Wolfen, with additional offices in Leipzig and Karlsruhe. CNGR, a global leader in precursor cathode active materials (pCAM), brings extensive production expertise and a worldwide network in the battery sector. As revomet’s parent company, CRONIMET adds its decades of leadership in stainless steel recycling, along with extensive logistics and collection capacities across Europe.
