Scout Motors Inc. has appointed Oliver Wollinsky as its new Chief Production Officer, marking a significant step in the company’s journey to launch its next generation of SUVs and trucks. Based in Blythewood, South Carolina, Wollinsky will oversee the development and operational ramp-up of the Scout Motors Production Center, with production set to begin in 2027. This appointment follows the passing of former Chief Production Officer Dr. Jan Spies, whose contributions left a lasting legacy at the company.

His previous roles include Plant Manager at SAIC Volkswagen, where he managed the construction of two manufacturing plants and led the development of Volkswagen’s first electric vehicle-exclusive facility. With additional leadership experience at Mercedes-Benz in South-East Asia and Hungary, Wollinsky is well-equipped to drive Scout Motors’ ambitious production goals.
