Skywell announced comprehensive updates to its BE11 electric SUV for the 2026 model year, combining significant technical enhancements with a substantial price reduction. The revised model is now priced from £31,990, representing a £5,005 decrease from the previous starting price of £36,995.
The UK-based manufacturer stated that orders are open immediately, with customer deliveries scheduled to begin in January 2026. The updates follow 12 months of market feedback since the BE11’s initial UK launch.

Safety System Additions
The BE11 26MY incorporates an expanded ADAS package developed by Skywell’s UK engineering team. The company stated that calibration involved thousands of miles of on-road testing across rural and urban scenarios with varying terrain, road types, and weather conditions.
The new safety features include:

- Automatic emergency braking
- Blind spot detection
- Drowsy driver alert warning
- Forward collision warning system
- Intelligent cruise assist
- Lane keep assist
- Lane departure warning system
- Traffic sign recognition
- Steering wheel hands-off detection

Combined with existing standard equipment such as 360-degree around view monitor, hill descent control, and front/side/curtain airbags, the BE11 now offers more than 25 safety features as standard.

Interior and Comfort Updates
The cabin receives several premium upgrades for 2026. Front seats now feature heating and ventilation with perforated leather-style and Alcantara finish. The driver’s seat gains electronic lumbar adjustment, memory settings, and a comfort entry/exit function that automatically adjusts seat position when entering or exiting the vehicle.
Additional interior features include:
- 128-color ambient lighting across the dashboard
- Cabin air particulate monitoring
- Revised UK/EU-compatible 220V V2L 3-pin plug socket
- Additional front USB charging port (two total)
- Rear USB-C charging port (two total)
- Optional 15.6-inch infotainment screen upgrade from standard 12.8-inch display
The exterior design remains unchanged, though new BE11 tailgate badging has been added. Four color options continue: Aurora White (solid), Polar Night Black, Midnight Blue, and Galaxy Grey (all metallic, no extra cost).

Battery and Powertrain Specifications
The BE11 26MY retains its existing powertrain configuration with two variants differentiated by battery capacity.

Both variants utilize a single 150kW (204 PS) BYD-sourced motor driving the front wheels. DC charging supports up to 80kW, enabling a 20% to 80% charge in approximately 36 minutes.
Pricing and Market Position
The revised pricing structure positions the BE11 between £3,500 and £14,000 below comparable C-segment electric SUVs, according to Skywell.

Skywell’s warranty coverage remains unchanged: seven years/100,000 miles on the vehicle, eight years/155,000 miles on the battery, and complimentary roadside assistance for up to 10 years when customers maintain dealer servicing.
David Clark, Skywell UK General Manager, stated that the updated model represents collaboration between the company’s UK and China teams, with more than 20 additional features engineered into the 26MY variant.
