Volt Time, a Dutch leader in electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions, has unveiled its Source 2 EV charger in collaboration with UK-based Versinetic. Equipped with advanced technologies like dynamic energy tariff support, solar load balancing, and enhanced security features, the Source 2 is tailored for both residential and commercial users, aiming to set new standards in the competitive Dutch EV charging market.

The Source 2 EV charger offers MID Certified Metering, providing users with precise billing, making it ideal for both personal and commercial applications. The integration of a Lifetime 4G SIM and Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) Proxy ensures seamless connectivity, allowing customers to switch service providers without the risk of SIM lock or connection loss.
Volt Time has also focused on optimizing energy management for its users. The Source 2 comes with a dedicated app featuring Dynamic Load Balancing, Solar Balancing, and Peak Shaving—all designed to help users minimize energy costs and maximize efficiency. Versinetic played a crucial role in the Source 2’s development, providing both hardware and software support.
