SparkCharge Secures $30.5M for EV Expansion

Founded in 2017, SparkCharge tackles a critical hurdle in the EV sector: the scarcity of convenient charging infrastructure. Its mobile and off-grid solutions, paired with a Charging-as-a-Service (CaaS) model, allow fleets to adopt EVs without the burden of costly, time-intensive infrastructure projects. Services like Mobile Battery Charging (80-300 kW) and Off-Grid Power Hub (180-500 kW) provide flexible, instant charging options, while Permanent EV Infrastructure offers a long-term solution.

CEO Josh Aviv noted, “This raise reflects both the strength of the SparkCharge growth story as well as the market opportunity ahead as electric fleets become the standard for so many prominent brands.” With 87% of fleet owners planning to integrate EVs within five years, according to Cox Automotive, SparkCharge’s innovations are timely. The company has already made a mark, powering fleets nationwide and reducing environmental impact significantly.
