BMW Charging and MINI Charging have expanded their product lineup for business users through a new partnership with Digital Charging Solutions GmbH (DCS). The collaboration introduces an innovative fleet application designed to simplify the monitoring and centralized billing of electric vehicle charging for companies.
Key Highlights
- Centralized billing for all fleet charging sessions under one company account
- Automatic reimbursement and no setup costs for businesses
- Designed for small and medium-sized fleets with up to 50 vehicles
- Consistent brand experience through BMW and MINI apps
- Launched across 18 European markets
This new fleet solution connects the individual charging accounts of fleet vehicles with a central company account, automatically invoicing and consolidating payments into a single company invoice. Drivers benefit from the same tariffs, features, and digital experience offered to private users, ensuring a seamless transition between personal and corporate charging.
Simplified Setup and Management
The process is quick and intuitive. Fleet managers first register their company through CHARGE NOW, creating a business account. Drivers then set up a BMW Charging or MINI Charging account with a business contract and activate the company billing option. Once linked, all charging activity is tracked, billed, and paid automatically through the company account—eliminating manual reimbursements or advance payments.
Efficiency and Transparency for Businesses
Developed specifically for small and medium-sized enterprises, the solution offers an efficient, cost-transparent, and scalable approach to electric fleet management. Companies can monitor up to 50 vehicles across different brands via a centralized dashboard, complete with detailed insights into all charging sessions.
Fleet managers enjoy simplified cost control and administrative efficiency, while drivers experience hassle-free, brand-integrated charging via the My BMW App or MINI App, including support for Plug & Charge functionality.
Launched initially in eleven European markets in August—including Germany, France, Italy, and the UK—the solution expanded in September to seven additional countries, such as Sweden, Norway, and Poland.
