Subaru has officially introduced the 2025 Forester Hybrid, marking the brand’s first-ever hybrid Forester for the U.S. market. Debuting at the 2025 Chicago Auto Show, the all-new hybrid SUV features a next-generation series-parallel hybrid system, combining a 2.5-liter SUBARU BOXER® engine with electric motors for enhanced efficiency and performance.
Equipped with Subaru’s legendary Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, the hybrid model offers 194 total system horsepower—an increase from the non-hybrid version—along with up to 40% better fuel economy. The 2025 Forester Hybrid also includes advanced driver-assist technology, an upgraded 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, and a tablet-style 11.6-inch infotainment system. This highly anticipated model is set to arrive at dealerships nationwide in spring 2025, with a starting MSRP of $34,995.
