TurnOnGreen, TESCO Deploy DC Fast Chargers in Indiana

TurnOnGreen and TESCO will deploy 10 DC fast charging ports across three Indiana travel corridor sites, funded through Drive Clean Indiana's EV infrastructure grant programs.

TurnOnGreen and Total Energy Solutions Company (TESCO) have announced plans to install 240kW DC fast charging units across three locations in Indiana. The project will deliver 10 high-speed charging ports along key travel corridors, backed by funding from Drive Clean Indiana’s EV infrastructure programs.

Highlights

  • 10 DC fast charging ports across three Indiana sites, each powered by TurnOnGreen’s 240kW units
  • Grant-funded deployment through Drive Clean Indiana, which reimburses eligible costs after installation, commissioning, and public accessibility
  • Strategic corridor placement targets high-traffic travel routes and commercial centers, including a stop along the I-74 corridor
  • Fleet and passenger support positions the sites as nodes within Indiana’s expanding EV charging network

Site Locations

The three deployment sites target a mix of highway travel corridors and commercial destinations:

  • JJ’s Travel Plaza — A 24-hour fueling destination along US 31
  • The Beef House Restaurant and Dinner Theatre — A high-traffic stop along the I-74 corridor
  • Battery Innovation Center — A nationally recognized advanced battery research facility

Together, the sites are designed to support long-term utilization growth as EV adoption expands across the Midwest.

Funding and Deployment Strategy

The project is supported by Drive Clean Indiana’s EV infrastructure grant programs. These programs reimburse eligible project costs once installations are commissioned and publicly accessible. TurnOnGreen and TESCO said the approach allows them to expand their DCFC footprint while maintaining disciplined capital allocation.

“The deployment of our 240kW high-power charging systems across these Indiana locations represents another milestone in TurnOnGreen’s infrastructure growth strategy,” said Marcus Charuvastra, President of TurnOnGreen. “We remain focused on disciplined capital deployment, strategic partnerships, and scalable installations designed to support durable recurring revenue opportunities.”

Kris Bowen, CEO of TESCO, added: “Our collaboration with Drive Clean Indiana and TurnOnGreen enables us to deploy reliable, high-speed charging solutions in critical travel corridors. These installations support Indiana’s growing EV ecosystem while expanding publicly accessible charging capacity.”
