Unplugged Performance Reveals $20,605 Cybertruck Expedition Build

Unplugged Performance has revealed a Tesla Cybertruck built to full UP INVINCIBLE® specification, pairing the $20,605 Stage 3 Expedition Package with the $1,125 Pursuit Package, steel armor and four-plane 48-volt lighting.

Unplugged Performance has revealed a customer Tesla Cybertruck built to the full specification of its UP INVINCIBLE® program, pairing the $20,605 Stage 3 Expedition Package with the $1,125 Stage 3 Pursuit Package. The Cyberbeast-based truck wears a desert-sand exterior and carries 154 inches of native 48-volt LED lighting across four separate systems. Steel replaces factory plastic at the front bumper, bull bar, rocker panels and rear bumper. Every component is a catalog part available individually or as a complete Stage package, the company says, meaning any Cybertruck owner can specify the same configuration.

Highlights

  • The Stage 3 Expedition Package is priced at $20,605 and the Stage 3 Pursuit Package at $1,125.
  • Four lighting systems totaling 154 inches of native 48-volt LED sit at four mounting heights; the roof-mounted 50-inch double-row bar carries 96 LEDs and a company-stated 38,400 raw lumens.
  • Satin dry carbon-fiber fender flares add 2.3 inches (60 millimeters) of total track width to clear 20×9 UP-03 Beadlock wheels.
  • The heavy-duty steel rear bumper raises the departure angle to 30.7 degrees, 2.7 degrees beyond Tesla’s claimed 28-degree factory figure, according to Unplugged Performance.

Two Packages Form the Specification

UP INVINCIBLE® is Unplugged Performance’s upgrade path from a stock Cybertruck to an expedition configuration, converting factory plastic components to steel, replacing cast factory wheels with forged units, and adding integrated lighting, suspension control and storage.

The Stage 3 Expedition Package forms the foundation, bundling off-road protection, utility, lighting and carbon-fiber components into a single upgrade path. The Stage 3 Pursuit Package addresses how the vehicle stops and handles, on the reasoning that steel armor, roof-mounted equipment and a larger wheel-and-tire package change vehicle behavior.

“There are many Cybertruck owners who appreciate the road-focused factory configuration, with its efficiency-oriented tires and utilitarian stainless-steel exterior. The UP INVINCIBLE® program was created for those seeking a more distinctive, expressive, and capable vehicle, one engineered to confidently explore the wide range of terrain found across our country and around the world. It is built for Cybertruck owners who want the freedom to pursue adventure, wherever the destination may lead,” said Ben Schaffer, CEO of Unplugged Performance.

What Does Four-Plane Lighting Cover?

The build runs four independent lighting systems mounted at four heights and aimed at four distances, all native to the Cybertruck’s 48-volt architecture with no converters or auxiliary 12-volt loom.

The steel bull bar starts at $2,495 with light bar and winch options, and mounts to a heavy-duty steel front bumper in place of the factory plastic unit. The carbon-fiber hood system — pre-preg construction with Kevlar reinforcement — is priced from $3,895 with its integrated bar. The roof-mounted 50-inch double-row bar runs at 6000K and is offered from $845 as a standalone upgrade.

Wheels, Tires and Track Width

The truck rides on 20×9 UP-03 Beadlock wheels in Satin Black, from $4,995 per set, wrapped in BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 tires. The wheel supports two mounting configurations: a DOT-approved non-beadlock setup for road use, and a true beadlock configuration for off-road work, where low tire pressure and high instantaneous torque would otherwise allow the bead to unseat from the rim. Black DLC-coated titanium lug nuts ($545) secure the wheels.

Satin dry carbon-fiber wide-body fender flares ($3,295) add 0.8 inch (20 mm) per side at the front and 1.2 inches (30 mm) per side at the rear, for a total track width increase of 2.3 inches (60 mm).

Steel Protection and Rear Storage

Heavy-duty steel rock sliders with integrated side steps shield the vehicle’s sides against rock strikes and ruts, and double as a step surface for cab and bed access on a truck that sits high.

At the rear, a heavy-duty steel bumper replaces the factory unit with an integrated hitch and integrated lighting. This customer specified the dual swing-arm system ($965 each), which opens the rear into an expandable platform for recovery gear, water cans or a spare tire and swings clear for full bed access. A four-bar roof rack and MOLLE side sail panels round out the storage, with mounting hardware shared across the sails and the swing arms.

Suspension and Braking

The Pursuit Package covers the chassis side of the build. CYBRSHOCKS rear secondary shocks ($2,295) improve rebound and compression control at the rear axle across washboard and rutted terrain. A three-way adjustable rear sway bar ($335) with polyurethane bushings allows roll stiffness to be tuned by hand. Upgraded front and rear brake pads ($790) account for the added mass of steel armor, roof-mounted equipment, larger wheels and expedition load.

The Pursuit Package ships with UP Forged UP.FIT wheels as standard; this customer upgraded to the UP-03 Beadlock set.

Finish and New Bed Liner Service

The desert exterior comes from a full wrap in customer-supplied FlexiShield Dune, a colored paint protection film built from thermoplastic polyurethane. The company says the film guards against rock chips, road debris and UV while carrying color through the film itself, with self-healing behavior that recovers light scratches under heat. XPEL clear film covers the exposed carbon-fiber hood and all four carbon fenders.

The bed and rear plastic components carry a sprayed-in bed liner, a capability newly offered through Unplugged Performance Tesla Services by request.

Testing and Availability

Unplugged Performance fitted every component at its Hawthorne, California headquarters adjacent to the Tesla Design Studio, and documented the finished specification in a build walkthrough. The company hosts TeslaCorsa — which it describes as the first track day series dedicated to Tesla vehicles — and campaigns its own Cybertrucks at circuits including Buttonwillow Raceway. UP INVINCIBLE® hardware has also run at King of the Hammers in Johnson Valley, California, and at the Mint 400, the same desert race that validated the company’s 2.5-inch Cybertruck lift kit.

The program scales from a single steel bumper to the complete Stage 3 Expedition and Pursuit specification. Packages ship to Cybertruck owners worldwide, and Unplugged Performance also offers fully upgraded turnkey vehicles in the United States.
