Unplugged Performance has launched the UP-RW FF Road Warrior, a flow-formed version of its forged UP-RW wheel. The new wheel extends the Road Warrior design to the Tesla Model S and Tesla Model X for the first time. It also introduces a lower price point for Model 3 and Model Y owners.

- Preorder pricing: A set of four wheels is priced at $1,595 during the preorder window through April 6, 2026, rising to $1,835 MSRP afterward.
Flow-Formed Construction at a Lower Price
The UP-RW FF uses flow-forming manufacturing rather than the full forging process of the original UP-RW. This brings the per-set cost down while retaining the same disc architecture and design language. The wheel launches in a Satin Black finish. Teslas originally equipped with 19-inch wheels can reuse their factory tires, and Unplugged Performance offers complete wheel and tire packages as well.
Aerodynamic Efficiency for Range Preservation
The UP-RW FF shares the integrated aero disc design of the forged UP-RW. Unplugged Performance validated the larger 20-inch version through CFD analysis. That study showed a 12.3% drag reduction compared to Tesla’s factory Performance 20-inch wheels. The company expects comparable or improved aero performance from the smaller 19-inch diameter.
For Tesla owners focused on preserving usable range, the disc-style design aims to minimize turbulent airflow around the wheel and tire assembly. However, Unplugged Performance has not published independent CFD results specific to the 19-inch FF version.
Replaceable Curb Guards and Structural Warranty
The UP-RW FF is compatible with Unplugged Performance’s replaceable curb guard rings. These snap-on rings protect the outer edge from curb damage and can be replaced individually. Customers can order the wheel with or without the guards.
The lifetime structural warranty covers the original owner. If a wheel cracks or breaks under normal daily driving conditions, Unplugged Performance will replace it.
Model-Specific Fitment Notes
For Model S owners, including first-generation and 2026 refreshed trims, the UP-RW FF provides a 19-inch aero-focused option. For Model X, it offers additional sidewall depth compared to larger-diameter factory options. The wheel is compatible with all variants regardless of original factory wheel size.
