VinFast Names Repairwise U.S. After-Sales Partner

VinFast names Repairwise an authorized U.S. after-sales service partner as part of a global push to scale its service network to more than 1,100 workshops in 2026.

VinFast has named Repairwise an authorized U.S. after-sales service partner, part of a broader push to expand its global EV service network to more than 1,100 workshops in 2026. The Vietnamese automaker announced the partnership alongside 28 other after-sales agreements signed at a global partner event that drew more than 200 investors, distributors, dealers, and service partners from North America, Europe, the Middle East, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Kazakhstan. The 2026 buildout adds to a global network that VinFast says reached nearly 800 facilities by the end of 2025.

How Will Repairwise Support VinFast Owners?

Repairwise is a digital-first automotive service platform that connects customers with certified repair facilities through remote diagnostics, online repair estimates, and appointment scheduling. The company says the partnership is designed to complement and extend existing dealer service capabilities by improving service accessibility, reducing appointment wait times, and expanding coverage in areas where VinFast’s dealership network is still growing.

Anthony Rodio, CEO and co-founder of Repairwise, framed U.S. geography as the central operational challenge the partnership is meant to solve. “The U.S. is an enormous market,” Rodio said. “That creates a major opportunity for us to help provide service coverage for VinFast customers in areas where there may not yet be dealerships.”

Rodio said the platform’s role is to give VinFast owners faster access to qualified service locations, transparent repair estimates, and efficient scheduling for both warranty work and routine maintenance. “As VinFast grows, having multiple authorized service pathways helps improve customer access, reduce delays, and create a more seamless ownership experience,” he said.

After-Sales as a Competitive Position

VinFast plans to operate the expanded network under multiple models, including dealership service centers, fleet-support facilities, and third-party authorized repair partners. The company has already extended after-sales coverage in Europe through a 2024 agreement with Mobivia covering France and Germany, and signed 29 additional MOUs earlier this month at the same global business conference where the U.S. arrangement was reinforced.

David Pributsky, Chief Commercial Officer and co-founder of Repairwise North America, said the partnership reflects a gap he sees in the U.S. EV market. “I strongly believe EVs represent better technology for the future,” he said. “However, in the U.S. market today, there are still too many expensive EVs and not enough high-quality options at accessible price points.” Pributsky pointed to VinFast’s integrated approach as the reason Repairwise is committing to the partnership: “The combination of charging infrastructure, after-sales support, and competitive pricing makes VinFast very compelling for the U.S. market.”

Why Service Infrastructure Matters for New EV Brands

Pributsky said VinFast’s willingness to invest in service infrastructure is what gives U.S. partners confidence in its long-term commitment. “VinFast has demonstrated real commitment, and they have the people and resources to support their aspirations,” he said. “Expanding in the U.S. is not easy, but they are clearly committed to building for the long term.”

Rodio added that touring the broader Vingroup operation reinforced that view. “One of the biggest surprises for me was having the opportunity to see the full breadth of the Vingroup ecosystem, from VinUniversity to the group’s many subsidiaries,” he said. “It demonstrates a genuine commitment by VinFast and Vingroup to Vietnam, to its people, and to industries that are creating jobs, supporting communities, and driving economic growth.”

VinFast says the third-party service infrastructure is intended to work alongside its dealership network rather than replace it, with authorized partners helping extend coverage and supporting dealers with additional service capacity as the brand continues building out its U.S. retail footprint.
