VinFast Signs MOUs With 29 Global Aftersales Partners

VinFast signed MOUs with 29 international aftersales partners at its 2026 Global Business Conference, advancing a plan to expand its global EV service network to more than 1,100 workshops this year.

VinFast signed Memoranda of Understanding with 29 international aftersales partners at its 2026 Global Business Conference, advancing a plan to grow its service network to more than 1,100 workshops globally this year. The week-long conference, held May 4–10, brought together more than 200 investors and partners spanning North America, Europe, the Middle East, India, Indonesia, the Philippines and Kazakhstan. Under the agreements, partners will build EV service workshops aligned with VinFast’s global service standards in their local markets. Additional details on the Vietnamese automaker’s broader EV ecosystem are available at vinfastauto.com.

Highlights

  • 29 international aftersales MOUs signed at the 2026 Global Business Conference
  • Target of more than 1,100 service workshops globally in 2026, up from a current network of nearly 800
  • Spare-parts delivery target of 24 hours for common parts in key markets
  • Charging-port goal of more than 1.5 million globally through partners including V-Green

Inside the 29-Partner Agreement

Under the MOUs, international partners are expected to establish EV service workshops meeting VinFast’s global standards in their respective markets. VinFast says it will support uniform quality through globally standardized technician training and certification, consistent operating procedures and quality-control systems, and a parts supply network targeting delivery of common spare parts within 24 hours in key markets.

The 29 agreements are part of a longer-term plan to develop an EV ecosystem covering aftersales services, charging infrastructure and customer support across the company’s international footprint.

Scaling From 800 to 1,100 Workshops

VinFast says its international strategy builds on the service capabilities it has developed in Vietnam. The company reports that by the end of 2025 it had established nearly 400 service workshops in Vietnam, bringing its total global network to nearly 800 facilities.

The 2026 target is more than 1,100 service workshops globally across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. The network will run on multiple models: dealerships serving retail customers, fleet and transportation clients, and third-party local service workshop partners.

The company says it is also implementing customer support measures including repair time commitments in Vietnam, replacement vehicle support in international markets, and battery inspection, software updates and technical support across the ownership lifecycle. The aftersales expansion follows a similar agreement with Mobivia announced in 2024 to extend aftersales coverage in France and Germany.

Charging Infrastructure and the V-Green Network

Alongside aftersales, VinFast continues to develop an integrated EV ecosystem covering products, services and charging infrastructure through partners including V-Green and local charging operators. Through that partner network, the company aims to develop a system of more than 1.5 million charging ports globally. V-Green has previously announced large-scale charging deployments in Indonesia as part of that buildout.

As part of the conference, international partners also toured VinFast’s manufacturing complex and the broader Vingroup ecosystem.

Bui Viet Hung, Deputy CEO of Global Aftersales of VinFast, said: “Our goal is not simply to expand the network, but to build a customer-centric aftersales ecosystem that delivers an outstanding experience on a global scale.
