VinFast Auto has officially partnered with five dealers in Indonesia, marking a significant leap in its journey to broaden its distribution network within the Indonesian market. This collaboration, announced at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2024, aims to enhance VinFast’s brand visibility and competitive edge on a global scale.
The inaugural Indonesian dealerships are BAM, GCC, and GSU in Jakarta; MCA in Medan; and Majesty in Batam. These partnerships are pivotal for VinFast, facilitating swift brand establishment and fostering connections with local consumers.
These dealerships are poised to commence sales of the VF 5, VF e34, VF 6, and VF 7 models in Indonesia later this year, subsequent to their official market launch. Detailed information on pricing, order timelines, and after-sales policies is expected to be released in the first half of 2024.
VinFast Indonesia’s CEO, Mr. Tran Quoc Huy, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “VinFast is delighted to partner with leading automotive dealers in Indonesia to bring local customers modern, exciting, and eco-friendly mobility solutions.” He emphasized that these partnerships lay a robust foundation for VinFast’s and its partners’ development, while also opening up vast opportunities for sustainable transportation in the region.
Echoing this sentiment, Mr. Hartono Kurniawan, Director of BAM, highlighted the strategic alliance’s potential to introduce high-quality, competitively priced electric vehicles (EVs) with innovative designs and exceptional after-sales service to the Indonesian market. This cooperation is expected to significantly contribute to the growth of the domestic EV industry.
VinFast’s ambitious plan to extend its electric vehicle distribution network across major Indonesian cities in 2024 underscores its commitment to becoming the top EV brand in Indonesia. Moreover, this expansion reflects VinFast’s broader vision of accelerating the zero-emission transportation revolution, aiming for a sustainable, green future globally.
