The company recently entered the vibrant Latin American market, delivering its first eight electric trucks to customers in Brazil, Chile, and Uruguay. Paving the Way for Electric Trucking in Latin America
These initial deliveries mark a turning point for Volvo Trucks in Latin America. Brazil, a crucial market for the company, received five Volvo FM Electric trucks through Reiter Log, a leading logistics operator. The trucks will be leased via Volvo Financial Services and deployed on various routes. Meanwhile, Chile and Uruguay welcomed their first Volvo FH Electric trucks, with SQM and El Libertador in Chile and Bitafal in Uruguay taking the reins.

A Robust Electric Truck Lineup for Diverse Needs
Volvo Trucks boasts a comprehensive electric truck program, featuring six models capable of tackling various transportation tasks. From city distribution and waste collection to regional deliveries and construction work, these versatile trucks cater to a wide range of needs. The Volvo FH and FM Electric versions, specifically delivered to Latin America, boast a 44-tonne payload capacity and a range of up to 300 kilometers on a single charge.
