XPENG Partners With Voltron for Indonesia Charging

XPENG and Voltron launched Indonesia's first 480 kW ultra-fast charging station, supporting the G6 Pro's 5C battery technology with 10%-80% charging in under 12 minutes.

XPENG and Voltron have launched Indonesia’s first 480 kW ultra-fast charging station. The facility is located at Living World Alam Sutera in Jakarta. It supports the XPENG G6 Pro, which can charge from 10% to 80% in under 12 minutes.

Highlights

  • XPENG and Voltron activated Indonesia’s first 480 kW ultra-fast charging station at Living World Alam Sutera in Jakarta.
  • The XPENG G6 Pro supports charging power up to 451 kW using full-domain 800V, 5C battery technology.
  • Voltron’s 400+ chargers are being integrated into the XPENG app for station discovery and future payment functions.
  • XPENG’s global charging network spans 31 countries with over 3,000 self-operated stations and 17,000 self-operated charging piles.

Co-Investment Framework for Charging Expansion

The MoU establishes a co-investment framework between XPENG Global and Voltron. Both companies will jointly identify premium locations for new high-performance charging (HPC) sites across Indonesia. The partnership makes XPENG one of the first Chinese EV brands to collaborate with Voltron in the region.

Lawrence Li, XPENG Overseas Charging General Manager, said the G6 Pro is the first model to deliver 5C ultra-fast charging battery technology in Indonesia. He noted that charging infrastructure had previously limited the real-world benefits of the technology. The Voltron partnership now enables consumers to experience those capabilities.

App Integration and User Benefits

Voltron’s network of over 400 chargers is being integrated into the XPENG app. Users can already locate stations as of January 2026. Remote start/stop and payment functions are expected to follow. Upon launch of those features, XPENG users will receive special discounts at co-branded stations.

Andre Soetadji, CEO of Voltron Indonesia, said the collaboration represents a step forward for Indonesia’s EV ecosystem. He emphasized Voltron’s commitment to building an open, reliable, and scalable charging network that supports next-generation EVs.

XPENG’s Broader Asia-Pacific Charging Network

Earlier in 2025, XPENG Charging connected to charging networks across Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. The company holds over 30% of Singapore’s public charging market share. Its network spans 5,000 kilometers of highways across Southeast Asia.

As of December 2025, XPENG’s global super-fast charging network covers:

  • 31 countries and regions worldwide
  • 2.66 million charging piles
  • 3,000+ self-operated charging stations
  • 17,000+ self-operated charging piles
