The YANGWANG U9 Track Edition, developed by BYD’s premium sub-brand, has achieved a groundbreaking milestone by setting a new global electric vehicle (EV) top-speed record of 472.41 km/h at the ATP Automotive Testing Papenburg track in Germany. This record, accomplished on August 8, 2025, establishes the U9 Track Edition as the world’s fastest EV, showcasing advanced engineering and sustainable performance.
