Yoshi Mobility, a leader in mobile automotive services, has successfully completed a $26 million Series C funding round, aimed at enhancing its comprehensive suite of services. This latest injection of capital, featuring contributions from General Motors Ventures and Bridgestone Americas, as well as international players like Universal Motors Agencies and Shikra Limited, marks a significant milestone in the company’s expansion.

Key Highlights:

  • $26 million raised in Series C funding to scale operations.
  • Expansion of services including preventative maintenance, virtual vehicle inspections, and electric vehicle (EV) charging.
  • Strategic partnerships and acquisitions, like the recent purchase of Mobile Auto Concepts Inc. (MACi), to bolster service capabilities.
  • Significant growth in virtual inspection services, supported by partnerships with Uber and Turo.

Since its inception in 2016, Yoshi Mobility has grown exponentially, with revenues increasing tenfold post-pandemic. The company attributes this success to the expansion of its fleet business and the adoption of its services as employee benefits by Fortune 100 companies. The Series C funds will be directed towards scaling these effective solutions and branching out into new service areas.

Yoshi Mobility recently enhanced its service portfolio through the acquisition of MACi, which specializes in comprehensive mobile automotive care including tire services and eco-friendly car washes. Additionally, the company’s virtual inspection service is rapidly expanding, offering a greener and more efficient alternative for gig-economy drivers and small businesses.

“Our virtual inspection business is on an exciting growth trajectory and has enormous potential,” stated Bryan Frist, CEO & Co-Founder of Yoshi Mobility. “It’s a true win-win across the board with clear product-market fit, synergies with our other product offerings, and great customer reviews.”

Furthermore, Yoshi Mobility is innovating in the mobile EV charging space to better serve the growing demands of EV owners and fleet operators, providing on-the-go charging solutions that promise enhanced efficiency and labor savings.

“The past few years we’ve expanded our services well beyond just gas delivery to offer car owners more comprehensive car care,” added Frist. “No matter how the vehicles are powered – by gas, batteries, or even hydrogen – we’re well positioned to help usher in the future of mobility.”

About Yoshi Mobility: Yoshi Mobility offers last-mile delivery solutions focused on comprehensive car care. Integrating with platforms such as General Motors’ OnStar, the company ensures convenient service delivery right where customers are parked.
