Andersen, the designer EV charging brand, has launched 13 new colors inspired by the all-electric Porsche Macan, allowing customers to match their home charge point to their new Porsche. The new palette offers a customizable touch, bringing cohesion between vehicle and charging station for Porsche owners.

Key Highlights:

  • 13 new colors introduced by Andersen to match the standard exterior paint options for the Porsche Macan.
  • Custom Palette service available through Andersen’s online configurator for complete personalization.
  • The A2 and A3 charge points come with a 7-year warranty, the longest available for any UK home charge point.
  • Accoya wood fascias and special-edition finishes like carbon and CALLUM designs are also available.
  • The A3 charger earned high recognition in the 2024 What Car? home EV charging review and London Design Awards.

Andersen’s newly introduced colors offer customers the opportunity to fully customize their designer EV charge points. The company remains the only home charging provider that allows complete customization of color and finish. Users can select different colors for the side panels and fascia, aligning their charging station seamlessly with their Porsche Macan.

Ordering a custom fascia is simple through Andersen’s Custom Palette service, accessible via the online configurator. Once an order is placed, a member of Andersen’s design team contacts the customer to finalize the specific color details for the charge point.

Both the A2 and A3 chargers are available with these 13 colors, and the A3 model is uniquely equipped with a market-leading 7-year warranty. This warranty applies to the charger and all associated parts, making it the most comprehensive coverage available for UK home charge points.

David Martell, Chief Executive of Andersen, stated: “The launch of the Porsche Macan is a significant milestone for Porsche and the EV industry. These new colors will allow all electric and hybrid Porsche customers to match their charge point to their new car, a service that is unique to the domestic charge point market. We are excited to introduce this new range which celebrates the launch of the Macan.”

The standard Andersen fascias are available in 13 aluminum finishes for £995, alongside four premium Accoya wood fascias. Customers can also opt for special-edition finishes, including a carbon fascia and a front panel designed by the renowned car designer Ian Callum CBE. Additionally, Andersen partnered with luxury eco-sustainable paint brand COAT, creating a palette of six new fascias now available for order.

The A3 and A2 charge points from Andersen are not only visually appealing but also feature practical innovations. These are the only home chargers on the market with a cable and plug that can be discreetly stored when not in use. The A3 model offers charging speeds of up to 7kW and includes user-friendly features such as intuitive LED status indications, a presence sensor, and convenience lighting that illuminates the cable location and Andersen branding.

The Andersen A3, launched earlier this year, has quickly gained accolades, including recognition in the What Car? 2024 home EV charging review. The A3 achieved four out of five stars, scoring highest in installation satisfaction and ease of use. Furthermore, in June, it received a Platinum award in the 2024 London Design Awards under the Product Design category, highlighting its exceptional innovation and design within the home charging market.
