Bollinger Motors, Inc., a leading electric commercial vehicle manufacturer, announced the production start for the Bollinger B4 Chassis Cab on September 16, 2024. The Class 4 commercial truck will see its first deliveries in October 2024, marking a significant milestone for the company. The announcement was made by Bryan Chambers, President and COO, and Jim Connelly, Chief Revenue Officer.

The Bollinger B4 Chassis Cab is a purpose-built, all-electric truck designed with fleet and upfitter input, ensuring superior capability and safety. The truck’s unique chassis design houses and protects the 158-kWh battery pack, setting a new standard in the commercial EV market.

Bollinger Motors has partnered with Roush Industries for the production of the B4, leveraging Roush’s extensive experience in e-mobility and manufacturing. “This is an exciting time in Bollinger Motors’ history,” said Chambers. “The Bollinger Motors team, Roush Industries, and our entire supply chain network have worked tirelessly to make the B4 a reality.”

The company has already secured significant sales orders, demonstrating strong market momentum. “We cannot wait to get the B4 on the road, electrifying America’s fleets,” said Connelly.

Recent milestones for Bollinger Motors include securing EPA certification, major sales orders, and qualifying for federal tax credits under the Inflation Reduction Act. The B4 Chassis Cab is eligible for a $40,000 tax credit per vehicle, further enhancing its market appeal.
