BYD steps into the spotlight at the Geneva International Motor Show 2024, showcasing its latest advancements in electric and hybrid vehicle technology. The event marks the European debut of BYD’s groundbreaking Super DM (Dual Mode) Technology, alongside the unveiling of the new BYD TANG and the introduction of the luxury sub-brands YANGWANG and DENZA to the European market.
The Super DM Technology is a highlight, marking the first time BYD’s plug-in hybrid technology is presented in Europe, offering an innovative approach to electric mobility. Alongside, the BYD TANG, a fully electric, 7-seater AWD SUV, is introduced with a fresh design, emphasizing its eco-friendly credentials with a range of up to 530 kilometers and top safety ratings.
BYD further expands its European product portfolio, showcasing a total of six electric models including the BYD ATTO 3, BYD HAN, BYD DOLPHIN, BYD SEAL, and the newly introduced BYD SEAL U DM-i. The BYD SEAL U DM-i represents a strategic addition, designed to meet the needs of European markets still developing their EV infrastructure, offering the flexibility of hybrid technology.
The luxury sub-brand YANGWANG makes a striking entrance with the YANGWANG U8, featuring the innovative e⁴ platform and DiSus-P Intelligent Hydraulic Body Control System, setting new benchmarks for safety and performance in the luxury electric vehicle segment.

DENZA, a collaboration between BYD and Mercedes-Benz, showcases the DENZA D9, a 7-seat MPV, and the DENZA N7, a sleek, full electric mid-size SUV, underlining the brand’s commitment to luxury, innovation, and customer experience.
BYD’s presence at the Geneva International Motor Show, with a dynamic exhibition spanning almost 1,000 m², underscores its role as a leader in new energy vehicle technology and its ambition to expand its influence in the European market with a diverse and innovative product range.
