Volvo Cars, a renowned global car brand, has partnered with Hubject to provide enhanced EV charging through Plug&Charge technology. This collaboration allows Volvo EV owners, starting with the EX90, to enjoy seamless charging by simply plugging in their vehicles without needing cards or apps.

Starting with the EX90, fully electric Volvo cars will feature the Hubject V2G Root Certificate, ensuring secure communication using the ISO15118-2 standard between the vehicle and the charging station. This protocol supports advanced functionalities like Plug&Charge, promoting interoperability and a smooth user experience across different networks.

As Volvo expands its EV lineup, additional models will gain Plug&Charge capabilities, ensuring consistent charging experiences across various networks.
